Using AT Commands
Permanent AT Connection Settings
under Windows ME
under Windows 2000/XP
under Windows NT
This is how those AT commands are entered that you want to use whenever the respective connection is opened (please note that "permanent" does not mean you won't ever be able to change them again, just that they will be loaded every time you start the corresponding connection). This is, for instance, the case for commands that determine how cFos handles your Budget Management.
Thus, assuming you wanted a maximum monthly transfer volume of 1,000 MB to be reset on the 15th of each month, you would need to enter the following:
ATS93H=1 S96=1000 S95=1

There are also AT commands that are intended for one-shot use specifically those that allow you to check some form of connection status or other. These should be entered manually using a so-called terminal window or program (like Hyperterminal). For example, "ATI6" will list the COM ports installed under your current operating system:
ATI6
Ports active:
0: COM3 *
1: COM4
2: COM6
3: COM7
Next usable port: 0
